Julie Rohr Academy has proudly hosted the Young Americans seven times in the past fifteen years. This phenomenal performing group has been in existence since 1962 and is based in California. They tour all over the world through their musical outreach programs. They not only perform but also teach in every city, state, and country that they visit.

Every time they have visited Sarasota, JRA has had about 50% of its 1st through 8th graders attend the three-day workshop. The students that participated have benefitted greatly from the interesting and educational array of activities they presented and have loved the personal attention they received from the Young Americans talented young men and women.

The Young Americans have an impressive list of performances. They have performed for Ed Sullivan, USA Presidents, Radio City Music Hall, numerous oversees tours including many before Royalty, and received an Academy Award for a full-length documentary movie. Julie Rohr Academy is honored to have had the opportunity to sponsor this dynamic group of young people and to provide the opportunity for Sarasota's youth to participate in this incredible event.
